A new sex robot under the name of “Samantha” has a working artificial G-spot that allows users to make her orgasm, according to its creator.
“Samantha is interactive,” said Samantha’s creator, Sergi Santos, in a video on YouTube. “Basically she likes to be touched. She has different modes of interaction – she has romantic, she has family, and she also has sexy modes”
“You can touch Samantha in the hands, you can kiss Samantha, she likes to be kissed,” he continued. “Normally she likes to be kissed always, and also she responds to, basically, the G-spot and also the breasts. She can also respond to the hands. So basically the hands are family, the romantic, the hips are family and romantic, and basically the spots where she feels sexy would be the mouth and the G-spot.”
What distinguishes Samantha from other sex robots on the market today is that you also have to romance her, adding a certain level of realism and gamification to the doll, according to Santos.
“She has a way of interacting, that initially she would like to be romantic, she would like to be family, and you get to a point that she wants to be sexual,” Santos explained. “The objective, the final objective of the sexual mode is to give her an orgasm.”
Samantha is currently available to purchase for around $6,450, with heating components for an extra $320.
Fully personalized sex robots are also available for $12,900.
In February, RealDoll revealed their plans to create more realistic sex dolls over the next few years, starting with an advanced and customizable AI system.
Harmony AI, which is set to be released on April 15, will be a smartphone app and is reported to feature a range of traits for customers to choose for their sex dolls, while the dolls will also be able to learn about their owners and respond in different ways accordingly.
Earlier this month, Breitbart News also reported that a Chinese chatbot had been told “I love you” nearly twenty million times.
“I like to talk with her for, say, 10 minutes before going to bed,” said one Chinese student who confessed to routinely talking to the bot. “When I worry about things, she says funny stuff and makes me laugh. I always feel a connection with her, and I am starting to think of her as being alive.”
In October, it was reported that sexual conversations with artificial intelligence were on the rise, with one A.I. CEO claiming that his virtual assistant “Robin” is used by “teenagers and truckers without girlfriends” for up to 300 conversations a day.
“This happens because people are lonely and bored,” said Robin Labs chief executive Ilya Eckstein. “It is a symptom of our society.”
“As well as the people who want to talk dirty, there are men who want a deeper sort of relationship or companionship,” he continued, adding that some people wanted to talk “for no particular reason.”
“I think it will be fully emotional,” said futurologist Dr. Ian Pearson to Breitbart Tech on the topic of sex and love with robots last year.
In the interview, Pearson predicted that people will eventually spend “about the same as they do today on a decent family-size car,” for a household robot.
“Artificial intelligence is reaching human levels and also becoming emotional as well,” he explained. “So people will actually have quite strong emotional relationships with their own robots. In many cases that will develop into a sexual one because they’ll already think that the appearance of the robot matches their preference anyway, so if it looks nice and it has a superb personality too it’s inevitable that people will form very strong emotional bonds with their robots and in many cases that will lead to sex.”
