People have crafted many ways to
crack/unlock modems to make them universal and use them with any SIM
Card. Some of them work, some don't. Today I will show you how to simply
make your Modem Universal whether Vodacom, Tigo, or Airtel, well
these are the most common ones here in Tanzania.
First of All, You will need,
- A Personal Computer
- The Modem
- Huawei Unlocker Application
- And the Modem IMEI Number (Just Scribble it down on a Paper)
Steps to be followed: -
- Insert your modem into the PC
- Install it, just the normal way if you haven't installed it ye
- Then Remove it/Unplug from the PC
- Put/Insert a different SIM Card, Maybe Airtel if the Modem is Safaricom,
- It will ask for an Unlock Code
- Open your Huawei Unlocker Folder,
- Run the Huawei Unlocker Application
- Input the IMEI code
- Then Click Calc,
- The Produced Code is the Required Code by your Modem,
- And Bingo, Your Modem is Universal Now.
