The answer is pretty simple actually, Steve Jobs changed the world unlike any other people & his influence went larger than just in Apple.
Ronald Wayne isn’t famous because he was part of Apple for a very short time & didn’t have any significant role in Apple’s success, he sold his 10% share of apple for only $800
Steve Wozniak will forever be remembered as one of the greatest hardware engineer of all time, he single-handedly creates the Apple I, the first home computer ever that able to display a few letters & running sample programs. His greatest invention was the the Apple II, arguably the most important PC of all time because it was the first successful personal computer that meant to be personal for everyone, not just for big corporations or computer hobbyists. The Apple II had the defining feature of being able to display color graphics which was the first of the industry because of Wozniak’s brilliance. Unfortunately, after the Apple II Steve Wozniak didn’t have any groundbreaking creation anymore.
Steve Jobs changed the personal computer industry by bringing Graphical User Interface (GUI) & the mouse as a way of interaction between computer & its user with the macintosh. Yes, he wasn’t the inventor of GUI & Xerox Alto was the first computer that featured GUI & mouse, but the macintosh was the first consumer PC ever that brought GUI & mouse for regular consumers because Xerox alto was just an R&D computer that never got into the market.
Steve Jobs changed the movie industry with Pixar, Pixar worked with Disney to create the first fully animated computer generated film, Toy Story which then changed the industry of animation movie.
Steve Jobs changed the music industry with iPod & iTunes, we could finally store 1000 songs in our pocket with iPod, something that had never been done before. iTunes also changed how people buy music, it made them buy songs from digital music store which eventually started the declination of physical music stores, iTunes also saved the music industry from a rapidly growing illegal digital music store largely because it gave people the freedom to buy any song they like with only 99 cents & they didn’t have to buy the entire album if they only wanted to buy 1 song.
Steve Jobs reinvented smartphone industry with iPhone & App store, before the iphone almost all existing phones were operated with a keyboard. Apple once again changed how people interacted with their device with the multi gesture touch screen in the iPhone, it was the best implimentation of the touchscreen in a smartphone at the time because people didn’t need a stylus to interact with their device, they could easily use their fingers. App store also shifted the world from desktop to mobile because, well… pretty much every thing you need is present at the app store, there are many modern billionaires came from app revolution that was started by App Store
Steve Jobs changed the tablet industry with the iPad, no one cared about tablet before the iPad came. Apple already had its first tablet in the 90’s with newton messagepad but it flopped terribly because the product was just ahead of its time & its writing recognition feature was terrible, Windows also already had its tablets but none of them succeed. iPad was successful because of its beautiful design accompanied with the best browsing experience, it was also so much easier to use because it worked just like the iPhone
