Apple 'Black Friday' 2017: The Best iPad, iPhone, MacBook Deals

As we’ve already established, the Apple AAPL -0.55% website is not the place to do your Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2017 shopping. Instead the best deals on iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches and MacBooks will be found at the biggest retailers like Best Buy, Kohl’s, Target and Walmart. But who has the best deals? Apple iPhone Black Friday Deals

• Walmart - Beginning November 23 - Apple iPhone Qualifying Purchases (7, 7 Plus, 8, 8 Plus and X) Get a $300 Walmart Gift Card (AT&T & Verizon) - product link

The best deal, but only Verizon and AT&T are available. Sprint users must look elsewhere.

• Sam's Club - Beginning November 24 - Get a $100 Gift Card When Activating the Apple iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus - product link

Sam's Club offered a $300 gift card for iPhones on its 1-day sale on November 11, so this is a significantly worse deal. I recommend shopping elsewhere.

• Target - Beginning November 23 -  Free $250 Gift Card With Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus With Activation - product link

Besides the Walmart deal, this is the second best iPhone deal for Black Friday this year. The problem is it does not include the iPhone X, but a $250 gift card is still solid for the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.

• Best Buy - Beginning November 23 - Save up to $200 on Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus with Qualified Activation - product link

While Walmart, Sam's Club, and Target are offering gift cards, Best Buy is offering a direct discount of $200 for the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. This may be the better option for you if you do not want a gift card.

• Walmart - Beginning November 23 -  Apple iPhone 6 on Straight Talk Wireless 32GB for $129 (save $70) - product link

While it is an older model, $129 is still a solid price for the iPhone 6.
Apple iPad Black Friday 2017 Deals

• Walmart - Beginning November 23 - Apple iPad 32GB Wi-Fi Only (5th Generation) for $249 (save $80) - product link

Other stores are offering a similar discount for this model ($249.99), but Walmart's price is $0.99 cheaper.

• Sam's Club - Beginning November 24 - Apple iPad 32GB Wi-Fi w/ Cellular Mode Only for $327 (save $130) - product link

Not many other stores are offering a discount for the cellular model of this iPad, so Sam's Club's discount of $130 is solid.

• Target - Beginning November 23 - Apple iPad 32GB for $249.99 (save $80) - product link

Target's deal is $0.99 more expensive than Walmart's.

• Target - Beginning November 23 - Apple iPad Pro 10.5-inch (Wi-Fi) for $529.99 (save $120) - product link

Solid deal, but Best Buy is offering savings up to $150 for the same model.

• Best Buy - Beginning November 23 - Save up to $150 on the iPad Pro 10.5-Inch - product link

Best Buy is offering up top $150 off on the iPad Pro 10.5-Inch, which is $30 better than Target's deal.
Apple MacBook Pro Black Friday 2017 Deals

• Best Buy - Beginning November 23 - Apple MacBook Air (Latest Model) 13.3-inch Display 256GB for $999.99 (save $200) - product link

Best Buy is offering $200 off various MacBook Air models, which beats most other retailers.

• Best Buy - Beginning November 23 - MacBook Pro (save up to $250) - product link

Good deals on the MacBook Pro are fairly rare, but this is a solid offer. Best Buy is offering up to $250 off MacBook Pro's, which is a deal it repeats pretty much every year.
Apple Watch Black Friday 2017 Deals

• Kohl's - Beginning November 23 -  Apple Watch Series 3 + $90 Kohl's Cash for $329 (no direct discount) - product link

Discounts on the Apple Watch Series 3 are rare, and Kohl's is not offering one either. It is including $90 in Kohl's Cash when you purchase an Apple Watch Series 3 at full price, which is a net price of only $239.

• Macy's - Beginning November 23 - Apple Watch Series 1 for $70 Off (pay $179-$229 depending on the model) - product link

While it is an older model, Macy's is offering $70 off the Apple Watch Series 1, which is still a solid product.
The standout Apple Black Friday 2017 deal in my opinion is Walmart’s $300 gift card bundle with the iPhone X, a smartphone so heavily in demand it is remarkable to find any discounts on it at all. Let alone one so large. That said there are also notable savings for the iPad (also at Walmart), the Apple Watch (Kohl’s) and MacBook Air (Best Buy).
