The best OnePlus 5T model in India retails for Rs. 37,999 or just under $590, whereas the Star Wars edition of the handset is likely to have a somewhat higher price tag attached to it. While the Shenzhen, Guangdong-based company has yet to confirm that, it’s likely that the upcoming model will be sold only by Amazon India, the same retailer that already holds exclusive rights to sell the OnePlus 5T in the world’s second largest smartphone market. A low-resolution promo that can be seen above surfaced online shortly after the first OnePlus 5T revision was confirmed, revealing that the device will feature a white back panel and a red alert slider, as well as a red Star Wars logo near the bottom of its rear plate. The handset may also ship with Star Wars-themed software, though it’s more likely to just feature some exclusive wallpapers and ringtones while still running Android 7.1.1 Nougat-based OxygenOS out of the box.
OnePlus isn’t the only original equipment manufacturer that partnered with Disney to promote The Last Jedi; according to one leak from late November, Samsung is also planning on releasing a similar revision of the Galaxy Note 8, though that particular device may end up being a China exclusive.
