When this flagship was unveiled by Samsung back in February at Mobile World Congress it would have cost you over £730 to buy SIM-free and over £40 per month on contract.
If that high price was putting you off upgrading don’t panic as the Galaxy S9 is now a lot more affordable.
In fact, a new deal is offering the Galaxy S9 on contract at a lower price than you can buy the device SIM-free.
Mobiles.co.uk has released a new offer which gives customers the chance to pick up the S9 for just £23 per month.
This gives you 4GB of data plus unlimited calls/texts on the Vodafone network.
There is a £110 upfront fee to pay, with the total price over two years costing £662 - that’s almost £100 cheaper than buying the phone direct from Samsung.
This is already a good deal but it gets even better this weekend as there’s another £10 saving with the code MOBILES10.

As a reminder, the Galaxy S9 features a curved 5.8-inch AMOLED display, improved camera that takes better pictures in low light and a much faster processor. There’s also a tweaked design which moves the fingerprint scanner to a more convenient position on the rear of the device.
Wireless charging, water-resistant case and a headphone port are also included.
Alongside the Galaxy S9, Samsung also released the Galaxy S9+ which is packed with a bigger 6.2-inch Infinity screen and a dual-lens rear camera which can add DSLR-style depth of field to your photos.
Samsung fans are having a packed year with the Korean company already unveiling its flagship S9 and mid-range A8 smartphones.
And on the horizon is its next big launch with rumours suggesting a Note 9 is coming within months.
The Galaxy Note 9 could be one to watch out for as speculation is rife that this phablet will include a huge 3,850mAh battery and fingerprint scanner embedded under the display.
Other features could include a new colour for the company, dubbed Teddy Brown, and the famous S Pen could also get a major refresh.
Expect to see the Note 9 launch in July or August.
