How to Change your Login Mail ID or Password on Facebook

Although it would be convenient to keep the same email address for life, it doesn't always work out that way. Many users find it necessary to change their email addresses for various reasons. Changing your email is normally not a big deal, but when it comes to Facebook, it's a bit more complicated because your email address is also your Facebook login mail ID. You can change your login mail ID on Facebook by navigating to the Facebook settings page and confirming your new email address.

1. How to Change your Login Mail ID on Facebook

1. Browse to Facebook.com and log in to your Facebook account

2. Click the "Account" button at the top right corner of the screen. Click "Account Settings."

3. Scroll down to your email address and click the "Edit" icon.

4. Click "Add another email."

5. Enter your new email address into the "Email" field and click "Save Changes."

6. Input your Facebook password when prompted to confirm the changes.

7. Log in to your email account and open the confirmation message from Facebook. Click the "Confirm" button within the message.

8. Click "Account," then "Account Settings." Click "Edit" next to "Email." Click the "Remove" button for your old email address to complete the process of changing your login mail ID on Facebook.

If you know your current password, you can change it:

1. Click in the top right corner of any Facebook page and select Settings
2. Click Security and Login
3. Click Edit next to Change Password
4. Click Save Changes

If you don't know your current password, you can reset it:
