If you’ve forgotten your password, you can request a temporary login code via email or SMS text message (if you have a verified phone number on your account). The option to send yourself the login code appears on the login screen after you’ve entered an incorrect password (currently only available on iOS devices). Once you receive the login code, you can use it to log in (instead of your password). Please note: the login code is temporary and is not reusable.You can opt out of this feature by visiting your Security and privacy settings on Login or Sign up. Under Security, look for Log in with code and check the box next to Always require a password to log in to my account.
Note: This feature is only available on Twitter for iOS. Also, this feature is not available if you have login verification enabled.

From your logged in account, click on the profile icon in the upper right hand corner of your screen and select Settings.Click on the Password tab.Enter your current password.Choose your new password.Save your changes by clicking Save changes.An accurate and up-to-date email address and/or phone number is the best step you can take to ensure you never lose access to your account. Take a moment and make sure the email address and/or phone number you have associated with your account is up to date.
